Atheist:  “No amount of first person witnesses (of postmortem appearances of Jesus) could ever be enough evidence of something that defies the laws of nature.”

Answer:  This shows that you are assuming your conclusion (the supernatural does not exist) before you even consider the evidence. This is called circular reasoning or begging the question. It shows you are not considering the evidence objectively, neutrally, with an open mind, or un-biased. You have an anti-supernatural bias which means no amount of evidence, no matter how logically sound will convince you of something you do not want to be convinced of. You have already excluded the possibility of miracles (supernatural) before even considering the evidence for miracles. Do you not find it ironic that the beginning of our universe (the big bang) is by every definition of the word, A MIRACLE (A SUPERNATURAL EVENT)! As the agnostic philosopher Peter Slezak  put it, for a God who is able to create the entire universe, the odd resurrection would be child’s play!
